Hyundai IONIQ 6 N Makes Global Debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed
Recently, it was reported by Chezhuwang that the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N officially made its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Built on the E-GMP platform, this high-performance version of the IONIQ 6 features a more aggressive and pure design for both its exterior and interior. It is equipped with a powerful front and rear dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, offering driving modes for endurance racing and drifting. The exterior of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has been significantly upgraded from the standard IONIQ 6, incorporating numerous sporty elements that enhance its aerodynamics while delivering a striking visual impact, emphasizing its high-performance positioning. The vehicle sports the classic blue paint of Hyundai's N brand, complemented by extensive black trim that further highlights its sporty nature. The front headlight group is equipped with pixel matrix LED sources, making it highly recognizable when lit. At the rear, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N features a large fixed rear spoiler that provides substantial downforce at high speeds, ensuring vehicle stability. Additionally, the exaggerated rear bumper design combined with a rear diffuser exudes a strong sense of sportiness. The uniquely designed grid-patterned taillights are inspired by the checkered flags used in motorsport. The minimalist interior design aligns with current aesthetic trends, maintaining a similar overall layout to the standard model. However, as a high-performance version, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N has undergone numerous upgrades in detail, such as the installation of sports seats and an upgraded three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Moreover, the materials used in the interior have been optimized, featuring a significant amount of Alcantara and carbon fiber, further enhancing the quality feel. In terms of performance, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N is equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a combined maximum output of 609 horsepower, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.5 seconds in standard mode. When activating the NGB mode, the maximum horsepower can instantaneously increase to 650 horsepower. The chassis system has been recalibrated by the N division, optimizing the suspension geometry to lower the vehicle's center of gravity and improve steering feel. More information about the new vehicle will be continually monitored and reported by Chezhuwang.
