Hutchinson Develops Integrated Module to Enhance EV Cooling System Efficiency
Electric vehicle manufacturers need to find ways to improve vehicle efficiency to increase range and reduce charging times. According to foreign media reports, multi-material solutions provider Hutchinson has designed an integrated module to manage the cooling systems of electric vehicles, enhancing overall vehicle efficiency to meet the demands of its large European automotive manufacturer clients. Hutchinson has proposed an integrated design solution that utilizes multi-port valves to reduce power consumption, along with specially designed internal seals to meet the stringent specifications set by customers. In its internal simulation and testing facilities, Hutchinson can evaluate different designs and their impact on vehicle energy efficiency and range. By closely collaborating with clients, Hutchinson is able to create optimal solutions in terms of size, weight, efficiency, and power consumption, and validate these solutions internally to ensure performance and durability.
