Huawei's Smart Car Brand Zhijie Unveils New Logo and R7 Model Details
On the evening of July 7, the product director of the Zhijie series announced the physical appearance of the Zhijie brand car logo on the Hongmeng Zhixing App, stating that Zhijie is 'pure Huawei Hongmeng Zhixing' and that the physical logo looks very attractive. The logo design follows Huawei's family-style hexagonal design, with a simple and elegant overall shape that ensures high recognizability. On July 8, the product director responded to car owner inquiries on the app, stating, 'The logo is being produced and will be sent out soon.' Previously, on July 6, the director announced that new logos would be used this month, benefiting existing car owners as well. Notably, this logo is specially prepared for current owners. According to official images, the most significant change in the new logo is the absence of the 'LUXEED' lettering. Zhijie is a high-end intelligent car brand created in collaboration between Huawei and Chery Automobile. The brand currently offers two models for sale: the R7 and the new S7. The Zhijie R7 will be launched in September 2024, with four versions available, priced between 259,800 and 339,800 yuan. Official data from Hongmeng Zhixing shows that pre-orders exceeded 6,000 units within 24 hours of launch, and total pre-orders surpassed 20,000 within 14 days. In terms of appearance, the R7 features tear-shaped headlights made up of three lenses, with a design that includes a flow guide slot to enhance its sporty feel. Additionally, it adopts a closed front design, retaining only the lower cooling inlet, while the top is equipped with a 192-line laser radar. The vehicle measures 4956mm in length, 1981mm in width, and 1634mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2950mm. Inside, the R7 features a signature yacht-style cockpit, a 12.3-inch distal screen combined with a flat front deck for improved visibility; the rear head and leg space is approximately 1 meter, providing a spacious riding experience. It also introduces the industry's first Knock-Knock electric front trunk with a large capacity of 52L, allowing easy access with a double tap. In terms of electrification, the R7 is developed based on the Tuling chassis platform, equipped with Huawei's motor system, and features CDC variable damping shock absorbers and air suspension as standard. For intelligent driving, the R7 is launched with the latest HUAWEI ADS 3.0 advanced intelligent assistance driving system, capable of operating end-to-end in national roundabouts. Powering all models is Huawei's 'Giant Whale' 800V high-voltage battery platform, supporting 800V fast charging with a maximum range of up to 802km.
