Recently, Haval officially released teaser images of the new Haval Dog model, which is an annual facelift focusing on optimizing exterior details. The new vehicle is set to be officially launched on July 17. From the teaser images, the overall appearance remains largely consistent with the current model, with adjustments made primarily to the details for a fresh look. The new design features a blacked-out style with six rectangular elements filled in and a black border, giving it a more rugged and powerful visual appeal to enhance its off-road capabilities. The front headlamp retains a circular design, continuing the classic retro style, which contrasts sharply with the grille. From the side view, the new model largely retains the design of the current version and is equipped with a roof rack, balancing practicality with an off-road aesthetic. The central letter mark on the taillights has been changed from 'HAVAL' to 'GWM,' aligning with the brand's overall revitalization direction, while maintaining a continuous design for higher nighttime recognition. In terms of power, the new model is expected to continue using 1.5T and 2.0T engines, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and a 9-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. More information about the new vehicle will be closely monitored and reported by Chezhijia.
