Great Wall Motor Unveils Official Images of 2026 Haval Dog
Recently, Great Wall Motor released the official images of the 2026 Haval Dog model. As an annual facelift, the new vehicle mainly adjusts exterior details and configurations, set to officially launch on July 17. In terms of appearance, the new model retains the overall design of the current version, featuring a new rounded rectangular grille at the front, enhanced with three-dimensional rectangular decorations. The iconic round headlights on both sides are preserved, giving it a more minimalist look. Additionally, new color options of Moss Green and Meteor Gray have been added. The side profile and rear of the new car show no significant changes, with a nearly flat roofline complemented by 18-inch wheels and traditionally styled door handles, maintaining a robust visual effect. The rear retains the through-type light strip design, but the tail badge has been changed from 'HAVAL' to 'GWM'. Inside, the new car features a 14.6-inch floating central control screen and a dual-spoke steering wheel, equipped with Great Wall's latest generation Coffee OS 3 smart cockpit system, supporting car connectivity features like Huawei HiCar, ICCOA Carlink, and Honor Car Link. Furthermore, it adopts a gear lever design reminiscent of a classic shifter, with the current sub-dashboard rotary shifter replaced by a storage compartment. In terms of configuration, the new model will offer heated and ventilated front seats, a 50W wireless phone charger, HUD head-up display, panoramic sunroof, a 10-speaker 'Love Sound' audio system, and a power tailgate. Powering the vehicle, it will continue to use 1.5T and 2.0T engines, with maximum power outputs of 135 kW and 175 kW, and peak torque of 275 Nm and 385 Nm, respectively, matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission and a 9-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. Additionally, the 2.0T model will feature a sixth-generation intelligent electronic four-wheel drive system and a rear bridge electronic mechanical locking differential. More information about the new vehicle will be continuously monitored and reported by Chezhinet.
