Recently, Geely Automobile officially released the official images of the new Bo Yue, a family SUV designed with 'new Chinese aesthetics' as its core. The vehicle is set to launch in August. The new model features comprehensive upgrades in appearance, interior, configuration, and powertrain, precisely catering to the diverse needs of young families.
In terms of exterior design, the new Bo Yue draws inspiration from ancient Jiangnan architecture, with a front face featuring a 'long bridge resting on waves' grille design. The grille is arranged in a 12-column structure and utilizes high-gloss injection molding technology, creating a solid and orderly light and shadow effect. The vehicle boasts the longest 2.05-meter continuous light group in its class, with a lighting distance of 186 meters, ensuring safer nighttime driving. It comes in four new Chinese-style colors: Glazed Blue, Rain Alley White, Lanting Gray, and Water Reflection Silver, inspired by traditional Chinese architecture and the water towns of Jiangnan, highlighting its unique cultural heritage.
Inside, the new model continues the 'new Chinese aesthetics' theme with a corridor-like surrounding cockpit design inspired by Jiangnan gardens, featuring a harmonious orange and fortune gray dual-color theme that creates an elegant and warm driving space. The high-mountain flowing sound system ambiance lighting includes 12 luminous areas supporting 256 colors that can synchronize with music and driving modes, providing a strong sense of ceremony. Additionally, details like the 3D laser-engraved crystal gear lever and ventilated seats with diamond-shaped perforations enhance the luxurious feel.
In terms of power, the new Bo Yue is expected to continue with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, delivering a maximum power of 133 kW and peak torque of 290 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
