Establishment of Anhui New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Development Association

On July 20, the establishment meeting of the Anhui New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Development Association and the "New Vehicles, New Anhui" 2025 Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Development Forum was successfully held in Hefei, Anhui Province. The event gathered nearly 400 participants, including government officials, renowned business representatives, and industry experts, to witness an important milestone in the development of the new energy vehicle industry in Anhui and to outline a new blueprint for high-quality industrial development. During the establishment meeting, Wu Xiaodong, Vice President of Chery Holding and Chairman and General Manager of Hefei Ruicheng Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd., reported on the preparation work of the association, introducing its background, organizational structure, and development plans. Member representatives present reviewed and approved the association's charter and management methods, electing the first council, supervisory board, and association leaders. Wu Xiaodong was elected as Secretary-General, while Deng Xiangyang, former Vice Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Political Consultative Conference, was elected as Chairman. Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., was appointed Vice Chairman and legal representative. Other notable vice chairpersons include Xiang Xingchu, Chairman of Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group, Li Bin, Founder and CEO of NIO, and Liu Qingfeng, Chairman of iFLYTEK. The Deputy Governor of Anhui Province attended the meeting and delivered a speech, emphasizing the province's commitment to the development of electric, intelligent, and connected vehicles, and the establishment of an international competitive new energy vehicle industry cluster. The speech highlighted the association's goals of serving as a guide for industrial development, a promoter of open cooperation, a builder of the Anhui brand, and a maintainer of the industry ecosystem. Following the establishment meeting, the "New Vehicles, New Anhui" 2025 Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Development Forum continued, jointly hosted by the association and the Anhui Open Automotive Ecological Laboratory. The forum featured discussions on the future of the automotive industry, with insights from industry leaders about the importance of collaboration and innovation to establish new advantages in the development of new energy vehicles.
