According to the latest industry data, car sales in Canada saw a slight increase of 4.3% in the first half of this year, reaching 958,214 units. This rise was driven by a pre-tariff buying spree and cash incentives from automakers, with sales in the second quarter growing by 6.4% year-on-year. However, analysts warn that the Canadian auto market may face challenges in the second half of 2025.
