CalAmp Launches New Vehicle Telematics Gateways
On July 29, global IoT technology provider CalAmp launched the LMU-4350LB and LMU-4351LB vehicle telematics gateways. These new devices are specifically designed for telematics solution providers, commercial fleets, government agencies, and student transportation, offering global LTE Cat 1 connectivity, integrated CAN support, and a wide range of input and output (I/O) options for both wired and wireless sensors. As part of the EdgeCore product line, the LMU-4350LB features extended edge programmability and code space, allowing customers to develop and run custom applications and logic directly on the device, thus supporting advanced safety, efficiency, and compliance strategies tailored to their specific operational conditions. Both gateways support CalAmp's flexible service models, enabling enterprises to choose between pure hardware, cloud-based telematics data streams, or fully integrated user applications, allowing them to deploy solutions that best meet their fleet management needs. 'With the LMU-4350LB, we empower customers to tackle their toughest fleet challenges,' said Tom Ayers, General Manager of Edge Devices at CalAmp. 'This is a versatile global platform designed to help businesses optimize uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.'
