Bentley has revealed its first electric concept car, the EXP 15, marking its entry into the electric vehicle era. Positioned as an 'evolved' sports sedan, the vehicle will make its official debut tomorrow, previewing the design language of future Bentley electric models. The EXP 15 features a crossover design that blends elements of a coupe and a sedan. Distinctive features include vertical headlights, a refreshed winged badge, and illuminated accents that shape the front fascia. The front trunk utilizes an innovative 'piano hinge' opening mechanism. The roofline extends from a flat front hood to a black slanted A-pillar, creating a strong visual contrast with the shining silver and gold two-tone body. The side profile exhibits a muscular appearance with sleek, sharp lines, complemented by a raised ground clearance and aerodynamically optimized wheels. Its asymmetric three-door design is particularly groundbreaking, with a single door on the driver's side and double doors on the passenger side. The overall length exceeds 5 meters, slightly smaller than the Flying Spur, while the rear presents a more subdued look with two active rear spoilers and an active diffuser, alongside avant-garde taillights that have a distinct identity. Inside, the layout breaks conventions with a unique three-seat design, eliminating the traditional passenger seat to create dedicated space for pets or luggage. The passenger seat offers versatile functionalities, including standard seating, a reclined relaxation mode, and the ability to move forward to the front passenger position, with a 45-degree rotation feature for easier access. The EXP 15's trunk is spacious and transforms into a camping or picnic area, with two small seats available when the tailgate is flipped down. The cockpit exudes a high-tech feel, featuring a sweeping Wing Gesture digital dashboard that integrates a digital instrument cluster and an entertainment system named 'Mechanical Marvel.' All screens within the cabin can be turned off, revealing a wooden surface underneath for added luxury. The center console includes a built-in display, lighting, a mini-fridge, and a dedicated control interface. Bentley has yet to announce specific power parameters for the production version, confirming that the vehicle is built on a dedicated pure electric all-wheel-drive platform, promising long range and fast charging capabilities. Although the EXP 15 is a concept, it clearly outlines Bentley's design blueprint for future electric models.
