Aito M8 Electric SUV Now Available for Pre-Order
On July 25, the "Family Smart Flagship SUV" Aito M8 electric version officially opened for pre-orders, with a starting price of 378,000 yuan. The vehicle is scheduled to hit the market in August this year. Customers who place an order now can enjoy a discount of 5,000 yuan on the final payment as well as an 8,000 yuan limited-time free option for the new Night Purple exterior. The Aito M8 electric version has dimensions of 5190mm x 1999mm x 1795mm and a wheelbase of 3105mm, offering a spacious interior that can be flexibly adjusted. Additionally, it features a large intelligent front trunk that can open and close electrically, enhancing travel convenience. In terms of assisted driving, the Aito M8 is equipped with Huawei's full-stack ADS 4 system, which includes a parking return feature, making its assisted driving capabilities closer to human operation. The vehicle comes with Huawei's 192-line lidar, one rear high-precision solid-state lidar, and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, supporting functions such as active safety, intelligent assisted driving, and smart parking assistance. The new model is built on the Tuling platform, providing a "better driving and riding experience" with its all-around chassis. In terms of range, the Aito M8 is equipped with a 100 kWh large-capacity battery from CATL, utilizing Huawei's Whale 800V high-voltage battery platform, offering a maximum CLTC comprehensive range of 705 km, with high charging efficiency that allows for quick replenishment of power. For safety, the vehicle features a robust body structure, a comprehensive collision avoidance system with over 30 sensors, and 15 layers of battery safety protection that far exceed the new national standards, ensuring multi-faceted safety for occupants. The exterior of the Aito M8 electric version introduces a new Night Purple color, complemented by a black accessory kit, including black decorations on the lower front grille, roof rack, window trim, and body surround. The side wheels are treated with a smoky black finish and equipped with red brake calipers. Inside, a new Truffle Brown color offers more choices for users. The new model will have both single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a maximum power of 227 kW for the single motor and a combined power of 387 kW for the dual motor, featuring Huawei's high-voltage seven-in-one electric drive.
