2025 China Automotive Forum to be Held in Shanghai

2025 China Automotive Forum to be Held in Shanghai
The 2025 China Automotive Forum will take place from July 10 to 12 in Jiading, Shanghai. This year's theme is 'Enhancing Quality for a New Future, Winning Smartly'. The forum will comprise 15 sessions and various supporting activities including closed-door summits, main forums, technology leadership summits, multiple thematic forums, and industry releases, all focusing on key topics in the automotive industry to explore directions and lead the future. Wang Ruiping, CEO of Aurora Bay Technology, a subsidiary of Haosi Power, has been invited to speak at the 'Seventh Global Automotive Technology Development Leadership Summit', where she will systematically elaborate on the leap in hybrid technology and its synergistic relationship with internal combustion engines. Wang will first review the evolution of hybrid technology, from the dominance of early Japanese models to the explosive development of hybrid technology in China today. She will highlight China's unique and innovative 'New Four Modernizations' strategy—high efficiency in power, electrification in driving, intelligence in control, and diversification in energy—which is reshaping industry standards and enabling Chinese companies to break through industry bottlenecks, forging a global precedent. Wang will specifically mention the establishment of a new international joint venture, Haosi Power, formed by Aurobay under Geely and Horse Technology under Renault, leveraging global and scalable advantages to further expand into the global market. Currently, Aurora Bay Technology has built a complete product and technology system with international influence, gaining recognition across the industry in multiple areas including traditional fuel, efficient power, hybrid power, and green energy power, with multiple technological achievements winning top global awards such as the China Science and Technology Progress First Prize, the U.S. Automotive News PACE Award, and the European Autobest award. At the summit, Wang will outline the path for the electrification and zero-carbon transformation of traditional power: embracing electrification, integrating with electric drive systems; enhancing engine efficiency through electrification; and achieving zero carbon through E-fuels and electrification. She emphasized, 'The internal combustion engine remains an irreplaceable pillar in the zero-carbon process, and Chinese hybrid technology is validating the feasibility of a multi-technical route towards zero carbon goals on a global scale.' With an international research and development layout, China's technical standards are deeply integrating into the global automotive industry chain. The forum is being held at a critical juncture as the Chinese automotive industry deeply engages in global competition. Wang's remarks at the forum resonate with industry issues and challenges in going overseas: hybrid technology serves as a new growth point for the large-scale internationalization of Chinese automotive companies and as a key lever for healthy competition in the global industry. The 2025 China Automotive Forum witnesses a strategic shift for China from 'vehicle exports' to 'technology standard exports'. The technological achievements showcased by Haosi Power validate the call from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers—creating 'value beyond price' through technological innovation and management cost reduction is essential to drive the industry towards high-quality development goals. Represented by Chinese enterprises, hybrid technology is becoming a critical force in reshaping competitive rules on the global track of zero-carbon transformation.
