On July 23, 2025, the 2025 Automotive Smart Glass Innovation Technology and Application Conference, hosted by Gaishi Automotive, successfully concluded in Shanghai. With the development of automotive intelligence and connectivity, automotive glass is transitioning from a single-function component to a multifunctional intelligent interaction platform. The maturity and application of smart dimming technology have propelled it to become a core interactive carrier of the 'third space'. The growth of China's new energy vehicle exports has also brought new opportunities to the domestic smart glass industry chain. However, the industrialization of smart glass still faces technological challenges such as yield control, the balance of optical performance and energy efficiency, and verification of reliability under complex conditions. Collaborative innovation across the industry chain is required to break through key technologies and construct a complete solution from research and development to mass production. In this context, the conference centered around the theme 'Smart Transformation, Glassing the Future', focusing on three major trends: lightweight, functional integration, and sustainable development, inviting industry experts to deeply discuss core topics such as innovations in smart glass materials, aiding the smart glass industry in overcoming developmental bottlenecks and jointly creating a new era of travel where 'glass is the interface'.
